Media classes are one opportunity to expand basic computer knowledge while middle school students will find themselves using computers and mobile devices in and for many classes as they advance toward high school. Both school supplied and personally owned computing devices offer practice and applications to bolster digital expertise. By GCSEs students should expect to have mastered or become more proficient with the following tasks and skills. Improved Keyboarding Skills Practice makes proficient and middle school students should take every chance to improve their keyboarding speed and accuracy. Students will be using typing for documents and communications, including emails and online classes or portals. Word Processing Students will be required to complete assignments using specific formats. The ability to set margins, tabs and use the broad range of editing and search tools within word processing programs or applications will be stressed. Headers, footers and page or section breaks will become routine. Expect homework or projects to be accepted online as a requirement or a convenience. Creative Digital Presentations Using graphics, animations, slideshows and videos will make projects and presentations intriguing and entertaining. Adding narration and music and applying a variety of visual details are ways to make final products appealing and looking professional. Individual schools and districts will introduce these concepts on their own schedules. Personal and mobile device use instead of desktops may impact how quickly concepts are adapted and added. Expect much variation.

Take Off The T-Shirt And Put On Some Power

Take Off The T-Shirt And Put On Some Power Photo by Jacob Sutton, courtesy of GQ.com What does this mean for our wardrobes? It suggests that if we want to be perceived as authoritative and be taken seriously, we need a serious power suit. As mentioned before, the style has shifted to a more subtle form of the 80s power suit, but its basics are still there, meaning you can (and should) still use them. For Men According to an article featured on GQ.com, two details label a suit and its wearer powerful. The stronger, more constructed shoulders and the low button stance (that shows more chest),  the article stated.  They combine to give you that broad, alpha-male V shape.   Along with these two keys, it is also recommended to invest in a double-breasted pinstriped suit, as it is still considered  the most powerful of all power suits, by GQ. Of course, if youre going the more rebellious, business casual route of the power suit, they recommend the pinstriped suit, white collared dress-shirt and to then screw the tie. For Women Photo courtesy of anntaylor.com The power suit for women is often less brazen than the mens, and involves a heavier focus on color. According to color psychology, black is considered more authoritative, while white is perceived as softer, which is a fact women should keep in mind when choosing a suit. Remember that black may be too harsh for some skin tones, which makes navy blues or even dark greens adequate alternatives. Todays suits for women are also more feminized, with, according to Vogue, the narrowest of shoulders, and shorter, tighter sleeves; they hit at the hipbone, not the upper thigh. For the Artists Photographer at Milanese Fashion Week, photo courtesy of The Styleograph This section isnt just for artists, of course, but for what they represent. Some of us possibly dont have jobs or a future corporate career that involves the need for the power suit. Take, for example, a photographer, writer, graphic designer and even some teachers; in these fields, a strong suit may come off as too much or arrogant rather than demanding of respect. In this case, it really depends upon your profession and whether you work for a small company or even for yourself. Promise Tangeman, owner of the graphic design boutique Promise Tangeman Creative, talks in an article featured on photographer Jasmine Stars blog on the importance of personal style. Take a step into your closet and evaluate what you like, what you buy, what you wear, and why. You may say that you dont know what your style is, but give yourself some credit, you know more than you think. When you get dressed in the morning you are choosing a visual look to represent you. Promises look has been called eclectic and very trendy, but it does indeed fit in with her profession and her boutiques brand, which makes it a great fit while setting her apart from the competition. She is seen in photos pairing dressy blazers, which give the vibe of professionalism, with funky, contrasting accessories such as feather earrings. In viewing her style and considering the fact that she designed her own business from the ground up, we can see that even developing a personal power suit proves beneficial. The concept of the power suit is something that can be used in our daily lives to aid in boosting confidence or to assert a certain flair, whether it be that of a powerful business investor or of a more out-of-the-box designer style. Working our clothing to our advantage, dressing for who we want to be and incorporating it into our personal brand is just a step closer to looking out from atop our own personal high-rise.

Unit Chemistry Helps

Unit Chemistry HelpsWith the diverse nature of medicines and other medicinal items, unit chemistry serves as a great background in which to investigate the properties of a drug or item. Unit chemistry is an international term for the application of chemistry and mathematics to the study of substances. This method enables to understand chemical structure and how they work. It includes the study of the basic factors of drug properties and effects. There are two main sources for learning online unit chemistry. There are numerous texts online that are based on the units in which the reader is required to derive the property of the substance and its effects. A graduate student can study the properties of the compound to be used. This is used to help comprehend a compound and its interaction with the body. There are also many other resources available for online learning of units. For this, students have to use multiple subjects. There are various theories and explanations used for unit chem istry in the United States and in many other countries, as well. Different universities offer different online units for the class that the student has to complete.Another common unit theory and procedure used in the United States are used in Europe. In addition, in some areas of South America, China, Japan, Middle East, South Africa, Russia, and India the practice of using units in the natural sciences is mandatory. This helps in creating a better understanding of a field. Additionally, it helps students learn that such principles are applicable to medicine. The value of unit chemistry is to understand how compounds relate to chemical reactions, so that one can predict how drugs will interact with the body.Chemistry has many applications in medicine. One of the major applications in medicine is the identification of drugs. The designation of drugs can be done based on their potency and toxicity. When this happens, one can use the appropriate prescription or over the counter medicin e. In order to formulate a drug, a few key factors must be thought about. Chemical composition, chemical reactions, and properties of the compound are all of importance. These factors determine the mode of action or mechanism of action. In addition, others, like contact point, duration of action, etc. have to be taken into consideration. These factors can easily be gathered from reading material and by comparing them with the known properties of the drug.Research has been done to make more in-depth material and medicinal articles for the purpose of understanding the properties of chemicals and medical effects. This is needed by the doctor who is treating patients for a long time. Online education is able to improve knowledge and increase knowledge of this disease. All these factors are available for the students studying online.

How to Choose the Best Online Photography Training

How to Choose the Best Online Photography TrainingThe Portland Business Journal recently reported that 'Colorful tutoring Denver Lightroom Photography' is a website that offers online tutoring to individuals or businesses, or even for large organizations, as part of their digital marketing strategy. Tutors use the same procedures, and in many cases the same materials, as the digital photography or video tutors at the art school or photography studio. If you are interested in learning more about how this tutoring process works, and how you can use it to help your own digital photography business, it is well worth the time to read this article.Education is not the same as training or certifications; it is the proper, ongoing exposure to the most appropriate methods of teaching, developing, and imparting knowledge and skills. This 'education' should be thought of in a broad sense, from teaching, which in the end becomes the process of molding the next generation of educators, to trainin g, which becomes a set of tools to improve the way that we teach the next generation of learners. If you are trying to increase your own knowledge and expertise, or to learn more about how to improve the methodologies you use to teach others, you will need to see what type of education you are seeking, and then consider the best ways to do so.In short, if you are interested in learning more about how to help your digital photography business succeed, you will need to consider education from experienced, accomplished individuals who can better train others to do what you can do yourself. These individuals have helped many individuals, both new and seasoned, take their careers to the next level. This is not to say that you can't learn much more from them as well, but you do want to make sure that you are in tune with all of the best practices in digital photography, and you are seeing those from a professional's point of view. If you haven't considered the type of knowledge that is ne cessary to become an excellent teacher, there are opportunities to learn this through education, but you will still need to make an effort to work through the subject matter with your students. If you are just beginning to realize the importance of how you teach your students or simply don't have the time or resources to go back and take classes or attend online classes, there are great opportunities to learn in the field, with the students themselves. Photography schools and business schools are opening their doors and hire new instructors to help students throughout the world to learn the latest techniques and to prepare them for the types of jobs in the field. If you are interested in this as a means of your own education, there are opportunities for this to help you get started as an instructor in the field. For example, there are a number of Lighting Schools that offer advanced training to students who want to take the lighting and post-production courses to expand their portfoli o, and build the business that they want to start. In turn, they can also offer online teaching to their students.Of course, in addition to finding someone to learn with, you also need to know how to be successful in your own digital photography business. There are countless tools available to help you, like instruction manuals, books, and DVDs. In most cases, however, these tools will not do much good unless you understand how to use them, or if you are willing to invest the time and energy into learning how to apply these skills to your digital photography business.Online tutoring has provided us with a great, convenient way to learn and train, and it has been very popular for many years now. People can find exactly what they need at the perfect price, from anywhere they are. The Internet has made it easy for people to study, learn, and use digital photography products effectively, and this is a good opportunity for any individual who wants to get an education from an expert in th e field.

What to Know When Writing Your College Admissions Essay

What to Know When Writing Your College Admissions Essay The following piece was written by Zach Kwartler. Zach is a graduate of Princeton Universityand the Marketing Manager for Story To College, an admissions consulting service. He can be reached at zach.kwartler@storytocollege.com. Imagine youre applying to Harvard. You attend one of the top high schools in your area, are ranked in the Top 10 in your class, scored above 700 on all three sections of the SAT, and just returned from a 5-week immersion trip in Argentina. With these numbers, how can you not get into a great college? Now, imagine youre on the Harvard admissions committee. You received over 36,000 applications for the Class of 2017 but you can only accept 3,000 students. You have over 6,000 applicants with perfect SAT scores and over 10,000 applicants with GPAs above 4.0. With these numbers, how can anyone get into a great college? Your essay is the only way for you to cut through the pile of perfect students and stand out in your college applications. Admissions officers say that most students write generic essays that do nothing to increase their chances for admission. Based on my experience working with hundreds of students on their college application essays, here are a few tips to ensure you write an essay that actually helps you get into college: Do: Write about a moment of inspiration and what you did with it. For obvious reasons, colleges want to accept students who are intellectually curious. The best way to demonstrate your intellectual curiosity is to tell a detailed story about a specific moment when you were hooked on the subject matter or the approach to what you were studying. Maybe theres a quote from The Great Gatsby posted above your computer that you read every day. Write an essay that describes how this quote influences your everyday life. Dont: Write a biography of your academic career. In ninth grade, I started high school and I had to adjust to the workload. In tenth grade, I started taking AP classes and I really connected with my English teacher. In 11th grade, I buckled down and really improved my SAT score. Now its 12th grade and Im a transformed person. Does this sound original? No. Many students make the mistake of trying to cram their life story into a 500-word essay. Dont fall into that trap. Instead, focus on a specific moment from your academic career that shows you learning, changing, or making a difference. Do: Write about a conversation on the subway. Imagine you just went on a life-changing summer trip to Argentina. You want to show colleges that you adapt to difficult situations and like taking risks, so you decide to write about this experience. Thats a great idea. To make this work, focus on a specific moment that shows how you connected with a foreign culture. Maybe you were on a crowded subway in Buenos Aires and you spoke broken Spanish with a crazed Argentinean soccer fan. Write an essay that describes how this specific moment changed your view of the world. Dont: End your essay by saying My summer abroad showed me how everyone is connected. One of the biggest mistakes students make when they write about a summer experience is telling a long story that starts when they got off the plane and ends when they returned home with a changed worldview. Again, the more generic your story, the less likely it is that a college will remember you. If your goal is to show a college admissions committee that your view on the world changed as a result of your trip, tell a story that shows what you did as a result of your changed perspective. Dont write a step-by-step summer travel-log with a concluding paragraph that starts with, This is what I learned in Argentina. Remember, you need to stand out on your college admissions essays. To do this, avoid the temptation to write a general story about very broad life experiences. Instead, focus on moments in your life that make you unique. If you do this, you will give yourself the chance to be the one student that the Harvard admissions committee actually remembers at the end of the year. Learn to Act and Gain Confidence With Acting Classes

Learn to Act and Gain Confidence With Acting Classes Why Take Drama Classes? Because Learning To Act Is A Real Confidence Booster ChaptersDrama Therapy: How Can Acting Courses Help Me To Grow In Confidence?Suffering From A Lack Of Confidence: Is Acting Just For Extroverts? You could easily be fooled into believing that most screen actors are pretty self-assured, and that's how they've had so much success in the entertainment industry. However, the truth is that acting is more often than not what gives them the confidence to grow in the first place and be comfortable on camera.Do you remember the popular girls and boys as a teen? They were usually the ones who played up to teachers and got the most laughs from the peers around them! At the time, as someone on the sidelines, you probably envied how outgoing they were, wishing you could be just as happy in your own skin. In actual fact though, those who are the most self-conscious and vulnerable usually develop a persona - they act in the way that they want to be perceived in order to protect their emotions. The idea of using drama to get away from who you really ar e is just as common in adults too, however, some use the skills learned through acting classes to begin finding out more about themselves.Anyone who has had even a minor, supporting role in a school or village play, or who has attended their first ever acting workshop, will admit that learning to act  is a truly liberating experience. Not only can you, while portraying a character, temporarily forget about all of your financial worries, relationship troubles, work stress and other concerns, you can also take away  all of the energy and positive traits of the person you have trained to play and transmit that to the stage.Meanwhile, many find that this newfound euphoria that they get from being an actor spills into their personal lives and changes their outlook on life entirely.Acting can be an incredibly liberating activity. Photo on VisualHunt.comI am a firm believer in taking yourself out of your comfort zone to really find a sense of accomplishment. That is why I think that taking acting lessons to become an actor are the perfect way to bring an introvert's personality and emotions to the forefront and help them to realise that it is good to express themselves, find their creativity through acting and to be heard (even if it is through the voice of their character initially!).But, as mentioned, acting isn't only an activity that makes you seem more extrovert to those around you, the  positive effects are usually long-lasting which means that you get hooked on theatrics. Is It True That Some People Are Born Masters Of The Stage? It is often said that some people 'are meant for the stage'.A lot of parents and grandparents, for example, joke about their little ones being  destined for life as a star, because of how confidently they showcase their singing, dancing or acting skills as well as how they react to the reception that they get from their families. Some might even start applying for modelling or acting classes for kids on their behalf. While I do believe t hat some people are indeed born to be film stars, I am in no way saying that less self-assured human beings shouldn't even bother competing for places in the industry. Far from it!The difficult thing, however, is convincing those with low self-esteem to be proud and actually sign up and go to a drama workshop. And ultimately, it should be their decision because if they want to change then they need to seek out ways of making alterations in their life for the better. That is not to say that friends and family members can't be emotionally supportive and encourage enrolling up on a beginners drama classes. If you know someone who you feel would really benefit from a confidence boost through singing lessons, dance lessons or learning acting skills and getting valuable acting tips, then highlight all of the pros and offer to come along with them for support. You could even be someone that they become comfortable opening up to and rehearsing with, and can watch them explore their creative t alents, see their passions develop and witness them finding their confidence. Some people, from a young age, seem to be destined for stardom. Not only can chatting to others who share your passion for theatre (or share your fear of it!) be good for you when it comes to forging relationships, it also serves to help you  combat shyness and become less awkward in a range of social situations. By placing emphasis on these social skills with people that you feel comfortable with, it should make things much easier for you the next time you do find yourself in a social situation that makes you feel self-conscious or nervous in any way. For example, if you have always avoided large corporate events, coming up with excuses each time the festive period comes around, then with some acting experience under your belt you might feel a bit more certain about joining in with your colleagues and working on getting to know them better. You never know, you could even start to get excited about going out and meeting new people!Having to act off of others, learn about emotional cues and body language and searching for character motivations can also help you learn to really listen and  negotiate - good skills for any career! When you register for  an acting class, you are more than likely going to develop new bonds and friendships that could wind up being the beginning of relationships for life!Discovering More About YourselfFurthermore, an acting coach can encourage you to succeed in  thinking about yourself in terms of your emotions and fundamental welfare. This doesn't necessarily mean to say that it will make you arrogant, but it will teach you to focus on yourself in a range of situations rather than worrying about others. For people who spend their entire lives doing things for other people, drama classes can allow them to delve into their own escape and provide a section in time whereby they can learn to just live for themselves, in the mome nt. Life can be quite intense but learning how to become an actor can culminate in you being more truthful to yourself and thus confident with who you are. There aren't many activities other than creative arts that allow you to  become focused on yourself and explore your own uniqueness and individuality. By learning to understand yourself better than ever before, you can also work on expressing yourself more effectively so you will certainly gain much more from the expenditure than just acting skills. There are many different acting techniques that offer different methods of projecting yourself and your character, like the Meisner technique, free acting, the Strasberg ideology and Method acting, to name but a few.Interestingly, performing in front of an audience can teach you more about yourself than you could have discovered on your own!Feeding From The Atmosphere Of PerformancesThe way that you react and interact with an audience says a lot about the way you engage and connect wit h those around you. Anyone who knows you will no doubt notice a change in you after participating in a few stage productions, as you'll most likely begin to be more impulsive in your actions and feelings, as though you can identify easier with yourself and others. And spontaneity is essential for a life in Hollywood on broadway! Some actors and actresses have stood out in history as being so electric to watch on stage or on screen, many of whom would admit to feeling alive when performing. The legendary Audrey Hepburn is a perfect example, and enjoyed a very successful television and film career thanks to her acting skills and overall likeability. She touched her audiences with her personality and brought something special to each role she played through on set storytelling.Audrey Hepburn had that something special when she was on screen. Photo credit: twm1340 on Visual HuntConquering Your FearsFinally, if you are a beginner in the world of acting, then even the smallest accomplishme nts can feel like you have overcome a big, exciting hurdle. If you have never been one to attract attention, then even considering a drama seminar and walking through the door of the theatre on that first day can feel like a massive step for you personally.Reaching new goals and challenging yourself culminates in a great sense of achievement and is often the best cure for low self-esteem and conquering your fears. But while the build up to stage productions can feel daunting for someone who isn't good at showcasing their passion, it is the actual performance that will really bring home everything you have learned in the weeks or months of professional rehearsals.Portraying a character on stage will mean that you can focus solely on the part, instead of the hundreds of pairs eyes watching and judging you! You will definitely need to be prepared to use your imagination and listening skills and trust your new improvisation techniques if you are to reach the end of your monologue or dyna mic performance without breaking into a sweat!A fear of speaking in public is quite common, and is called glossophobia. If you are to truly overcome your speech and self-esteem anxieties, then the skills acquired through drama lessons like learning breathing techniques, practising lines and watching other performers can be the key to doing so. By studying positive body language and how to achieve a strong mental foundation then you can apply yourself to anything, whether acting jobs or pursuing another avenue. Many experts say that the best way to get over a fear is to face it - so with a bit of self-encouragement and plain courage, you can do it, and you will feel so happy when you do!Find acting classes near me with a private tutor on Superprof.Acting classes Londonacting classes GlasgowActing classes Birmingham CarlActing Teacher 5.00 (5) £55/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors NatashaActing Teacher 5.00 (8) £45/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors ElifActing Teacher 5.00 (10) £40/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors CalumActing Teacher 5.00 (15) £50/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors ChristopherActing Teacher 5.00 (9) £35/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors LowriActing Teacher 5.00 (8) £85/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors DanielActing Teacher 5.00 (6) £25/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors CiaranActing Teacher 5.00 (5) £40/h1st lesson free!Discover all our tutors

Spanish Grammar Comparisons, Negation, and Superlatives

Spanish Grammar Comparisons, Negation, and Superlatives Suzy S. As you learn to speak Spanish, youll need to be able to put together  a variety of phrases. Here, Spanish teacher Jason N.  shows you how to  describe nouns in relation to each other Spanish Comparisons In English, as in every language, we compare people, places, and things  regularly. Spanish comparisons aren’t too different, there are just new formulas to learn. The good news is theyre very basic and you can learn them for the long-run in a couple of hours! Heres the most important one: Here are some examples:  Obama es más alto que Clinton (Obama is taller than Clinton)  Mi carro es más rápido que el carro de Juan (My car is faster than Juan’s) Now its your turn to practice! (The answer key can be found at the bottom of the article) 1)  Jim is smarter than Alex. 2) Alison is stronger than Brook. 3)  The office at TakeLessons is nicer than the office I previously worked in. Equal Comparisons Sometimes one thing isnt better or worse than the other. For that, were able to compare things that are the same. Here’s another important formula: There are also endless combinations that can go in the blanks. For example:  Obama es tan alto como Clinton (Obama is as tall as Clinton)  Mi carro es tan rápido como el carro de Juan (My car is just as fast as Juan’s) Negative Expressions in Spanish It’s especially easy to make things negative in Spanish    just add a ‘no’ in front of whatever youd  like to negate. For example: No es chistoso Daniel (Daniel isn’t funny) Negation in Spanish can also be redundant and emphatic, in that sometimes it repeats itself. While double-negatives in English cancel themselves out logically, in Spanish double-negatives are frequently used to convey negation. Check out this example: No tengo nada (I have nothing) The direct translation in English is “I don’t have nothing,” which sounds odd and would imply the speaker has something. In Spanish, however, this is correct and simply means you have nothing. Once you practice your Spanish some more, these nuances will become second nature to you. Superlatives in Spanish If you want to isolate one person, place, or thing as being the most something (a superlative), you just put the definite article (el, la, los or las) before the given phrase. For example:  Esta mujer es la más guapa (This woman is the prettiest)  Florida es el estado más hermoso de los Estados Unidos (Florida is the most beautiful state in the United States) You may be surprised to realize that the word most doesn’t exist in Spanish. There is also no way to add the superlative suffix ‘est’ at the end of words. It may seem odd that it just translates to ‘the more,’ but it works because using the definite article and context help readers and listeners  understand what you mean. Practice  translating these sentences (again, answer key is at the end of the article!): 1)  Jim is the smartest man alive. 2) Alison is the strongest woman alive. 3) The office at TakeLessons is the nicest office in the United States. Bonus Words: Irregulars Wait there’s more! Here are other Spanish comparison words including confusing irregulars: Mayor vs. menor (older vs. younger) Alto vs. bajo/a (in Mexican Spanish it’s often ‘chaparro/a’) bueno (good) becomes  mejor (better) malo (bad) becomes  peor (worse) Viejo (old) becomes  mayor (older) joven (young) becomes  menor (younger) Your Spanish tutor can help you better understand double- (and sometimes triple-) negatives in Spanish! My advice is to explore the language through movies, music, and books, and work with a good tutor. Its also a good idea to make sure you know how to pronounce Spanish words before you start practicing them. Happy learning! Answer Key Comparisons 1) Jim es más inteligente que Alex. Mastering the Art of Follow Up - Introvert Whisperer

Introvert Whisperer / Mastering the Art of Follow Up - Introvert Whisperer Mastering the Art of Follow Up “I’ll follow up with you tomorrow.”  Only that follow up never happens.  How does that make you feel?  It makes no difference what the follow up was going to be. It can be a call back from a job interview all the way to your work associate following up to tell you if they can be in a meeting.  Besides being unprofessional, a failed follow up doesn’t make you feel good; it makes you feel forgotten and unimportant.    Hopefully, those are feelings you don’t create with others.       The follow up is especially important because it is one thing that demonstrates your integrity.  Follow up is also important for several other reasons: It helps to keep business moving forward.  We can all work with some delay in our various business processes as long as we know that the person we need something from will follow up with whatever is needed from them. It keeps people accountable.  When you follow up with someone on a commitment they made, it will keep them more focused on the deliverable and staying accountable. It is about integrity and trust.  If you’ve failed to follow up on something enough times, you’ve trained those people to not trust that you will ever do what you say. Some jobs require it.  If you are in certain jobs, you have to be the one to make the phone call or drop into some one’s office to follow up.  This happens because of the role you and the other person play.  If you don’t do the follow-up, the business won’t move forward, nor will your career. It can be a tool for your job.  Follow up is an important tool to my job as a coach, just as it was when I was a manager.  Sometimes people rely on your ability to follow up to keep things moving or to help them through a process.  It’s critical to many jobs. If you happen to be a person who lacks good follow up skills, don’t worry; here are five things you can do to go from bad to great: List your follow ups.  Many people have a running ‘to-do’ list. This trick is just like that only it falls in the category of following up.  List the required follow-up, put the date it needs to be done and check it off after you’ve done it.  People will think you are a rock star. Put it on your calendar.  Most people have some type of calendar and calendar reminder system on their phone.  When you have something to follow up on, don’t try to remember it; simply put it in your calendar to ping you at the appropriate time. Use your files.  If you keep a file for a project or person, make a sticky note and put it in the file to remind you to follow up on a specific thing related to that file. This will only work if you refer to the file somewhat frequently. Don’t get sticky note crazy.  Some people will generate hundreds of sticky notes and put them all over the place to help them remember to follow up on things.  When you do this, it loses the impact of the sticky note as a reminder.  The eye gets used to the clutter of sticky notes and can now easily ignore them. Don’t rely on your memory.  Most people can only juggle a limited amount of things in their memory at any given time.  Unless you are one of those rare people who remember everything, skip trying to remember your follow ups.  It can’t be relied upon.  Instead of trying to remember to get into the habit of using one of the simple tips mentioned above. Follow up is a professional tool used in all jobs from restaurant servers to CEOs.    If you are good at it, you will be branded as a trust-worthy peer and professional with whom other people will want to work.
